The Size and Shape of Eros's Orbit

Eros orbits the Sun in an eccentric orbit that extends from just outside the orbit of Earth to beyond the orbit of Mars.

At 33km in length, it is the largest Near Earth Object (NEO). It approaches to within 22 million km of Earth.
